—The Horse— Name: ------ Calm Before the Storm [[Stormy]] Breed: ------ Trakehner Age: ------ 5 Gender: ------ Stallion Height: ------ 16.3 Mane/Tail Color: ------ White Eye Color: ------ Brown Markings: ------ Dappled Grey Other? (appearance wise): ------ Calm Before the Storm is your typical warmblood horse. He's tall but also a bit on the muscular side. He moves gracefully and carries his head rounded naturally, possibly as a sign of pride.
Personality: Calm Before the Storm is your normal stallion. He loves mares and especially loves to show off for them, prancing in place or arching his neck whenever there's one around. He's very hot tempered and tempermental. It's best that you watch yourself when around him. He has a tendency to strike out with a foreleg or nip when he's especially angry.
He also has some trust issues. It's probably because he switched hands so often while growing up. It takes some time to gain his trust, but once you have it, you have it forever. He's loving of the humans he trusts and quite cooperative normally. Only occasionally will he be totally unresponsive.
He's scared of fire as well as irritated by ponies.
Brief History: Calm Before the Storm was raised on an eventing farm. He showed great promise as a foal but once he started his training, he had health problems and his owners didn't have the time or money to get his problems fixed properly. So they sold him at a cheap price to a friend of theirs who rode horses, not professionally though. They quickly fell in love with the dappled grey stallion but knew that it was a shame for him to just be a pleasure horse. And so he was sold to yet another farm, this time a professional eventing farm.
Here he was trained intensely. He had a challenging work schedule, but it made him quite the good eventer. He excelled in cross country, being bold and fast. Dressage was also quite easy, considering his graceful moves. But show jumping was a whole different thing. He had trouble tucking his legs up high enough or judging his distances correctly. His owners couldn't do anything about this, and quite frustrated, they put him on the market where he was bought by Rosalie.
