Show Type: Competitive Trail Riding
You start by saluting the judges and placing your horse through the necessary Veterinary check ups before guiding your horse to the start of the trail. You mount your horse and salute the judges again. Once the gun fires, you take off down a trail marked by flags that let you know what path you stay on. You go one at a time. Points are given on the partnership between rider and horse. This race is timed and it is all judged by how good of shape the horse is in and how well the horse is kept. Points are given on how well you and your horse handle the various obsticles placed along the coarse. For more rules and information click here. Have fun!
