—The Horse— Name: Adagio For Strings. Breed: Dutch Warmblood. Age: 10 Years Old. Gender: Gelding. Height: 16.2hh. Mane/Tail Color: Black & White. Eye Color: Brown. Markings: Tobiano Other? (appearance wise): Adagio is a very handsome chap! He is a stunning colour of buckskin tobiano and expresses a kind eye. He always catches the judges eye and Riley is forever receiving comments of how stunning he is. Adagio is kept in tip-top condition, Riley rides him everyday and although he is stable-kept at night he is turned out every morning while Riley attends class. He has excellent conformation and muscle structure. He has numerous amounts of tack and accessories in vibrant red. Personality: Adagio is a sweetheart and unfortunately didn't make the grade as a stallion, he was originally bred for breeding purposes with his unique colouring and gentle temperment. He is gentle and never barges nor bites, kicks or rears. Adagio, like most warmbloods gets excited but only popping a few bucks and nothing more. He is very much a people and horse fellow, and enjoys the company of others just as much as a one - to - one with Riley. He is very docile and has the cheekiness of a pony yet with the paces of a horse, a true rare gem in Riley's eyes. Brief History: Poor Adagio was gelded as 4 year old, after failing to make the grade as a breeding stallion, yet his riding career received a huge boost and he took everything into his stride! He was schooled and then began his showing career, successfully winning many under saddle and in-hand classes and eventually starring in Dressage, Show-Jumping and unaffiliated ODEs. But sadly Adagio had to be put up for sale as his loving owner fell pregnant, with her first child and found herself not giving him the time he deserved to blossom, at this time Riley's parents were in search of a new horse for their horse-mad daughter and found him online, after visiting him once, then again they agreed he was perfect for Riley and thus the partnership began. Other? (anything else you would like us to know?: Nope.
