Jumping into the saddle in young man leaned over his horse and patted it on the neck. Ready for a run, boy? Hearing the horse snot Kuro let out a laugh and sat up straight again. Clicking his tongue he lead the horse down the trail looking around all the time. It was his first time going down the trails and he wanted everything to sink in. Looking at the piece of paper in his hand he re-read the directions on how to get to one of the lakes. Looking up again he turned the rains and moved Encore down the right path. Encore was enjoying it all and was happy just to be free. After a while they finally reached their destination. It was a pond with water flowers on the top and a small waterfall. The person at the boarding house had said that it was all naturally made. Giving out a sigh at the sight he pulled back on the rains and had Encore stop. We made it boy! Slipping out of the saddle he looked around and then tied Encore to a nearby tree branch. Grabbing a sandwich and his I-pod out he went to sit near the lake, listen to music, and eat his lunch.

Rosalie Stratford
Rosalie sighed with pleasure as she felt a cool breeze wash over her face. Stormy sensed her contentment and picked up his feet higher, as if showing off for some unseen mare. Rose smiled and patted the dappled grey stallion on the neck. "It sure is beautiful out here, isn't it?" she asked him. Not really sure where she was going, Rose simply let Stormy lead the way. If they got lost, she was pretty sure the stallion could find his way back home. After a while, Stormy picked up a trot and let out a loud neigh to something unseen. Rosalie picked up the slackened reins and became more attentive.
After a turn, the pair came upon an Appaloosa stallion tied to a tree. Stormy pinned his ears back and struck out with a front hoof, snorting at the other stallion. Rosalie held him firm and made him back up a few steps. She knew how much he hated other stallions. They were seen as his rivals. She rolled her eyes. Typical males. After she had backed Stormy up a few feet and he was under control for the moment, but still eyeing the other stallion, she noticed a boy sitting by the pond they had come upon. He probably hadn't heard her because of the i-pod in his ears. Rose debated about whether she should go and say hello. It wasn't like her to be the first to go up to a person, especially a boy. Boys always came to her first. But the beauty of the pond seemed to lure her in and so she slipped off Stormy, tied him safely a few trees away, and approached the boy. Not sure how to get his attention without startling him, she tapped him on the shoulder.

Watching the lake Kuro ate his sandwich and bobbed his head to his music. Bleed it out was the song he was listening to the at the moment and when he felt a tap on his shoulder he looked slowly up. It didn't freak him out as much as it just was strange. He had thought himself to be the only other person there and he really wasn't especting someone else being there.
Looking up he saw a young women around his age starring down at him. She was preety, but he could tell that she knew that she knew it. Pulling his headphones off and placing them around his neck he looked back up at her. May I help you? His voice didn't show anything, but he was a tad bit sad. It was nice having this time to himslef. Suddenly, getting a thought in his head he leapt up to his feet fast and looked towards Encore. Seeing that the stallion was fine, but slightly annoyed Kuro could tell that there was anouther stallion around, but the girl had been smart and put her horse away from Encore.

'May I help you?'
Rosalie was a bit disgruntled by his comment. She herself thought it a tad bit rude, but she didn't let it show on her face. "Oh I'm sorry," she said a bit guardedly. "I was just on a ride and spotted you here. I thought you might like some company but I guess not. I'll leave you alone." She was about to turn around when the boy jumped up and looked over at his stallion. Stormy was standing quietly, for once, watching the pair intently, just waiting for Rosalie to come back so they could continue their ride. Rose smiled at him. He was such a wonderful horse, even if he did tend to be a bit hard headed at times. She could understand; She was the exact same way. She pulled herself quickly back out of her reverie and looked over at the boy. "I put Stormy a bit away so there wouldn't be any tension," she explained before turning and walking towards the dappled grey stallion. If that boy didn't want company, then she wouldn't give him any. And so she reached her stallion, who nuzzled her affectionately. She smiled at him and rubbed his neck. Muse: Good.

Looking back over at the girl it took a second for Kuro to relize that he might have been rude to her. I am sorry about my comment to you earlier. He said fiddling with his black and green tie. Thank you about that. Encore might have just bitten your horse's head off if he could have. Shrugging as he talked he watched her walk over to her dapple stallion and him nudge her. Walking to his own horse to his own horse he put out his hand for Encore to sniff and watched as the stallion slowly put his ears back up. Reaching up slightly he rubbed the stallion's neck. Smilling he turned his head he looked over at the women. Encore doesn't like many people. So, sometimes I have the same mood as him.
Muse: Okey

'I am sorry about my comment to you earlier. Thank you about that. Encore might have just bitten your horse's head off if he could have.'
Rosalie turned around and nodded stiffly, not sure if she was ready to forgive him for his earlier rudeness. Forgiveness just didn't run in her veins, but living with Bella had taught her some things. "Your welcome," she replied, watching as he calmed down his stallion. "Stormy isn't much of a sweetheart towards other stallions, either. Well, he isn't really a sweetheart to anyone, for that matter."
'Encore doesn't like many people. So, sometimes I have the same mood as him.'
Rosalie gazed at the boy more curiosuly. She wasn't used to people openly admitting they didn't like people. He sure was an odd guy. It was then that she realized she didn't even know his name. "I'm Rosalie Stratford," she said to him from where she stood. "What's your name?"

Listening to the girl Kuro tilted his head to catch her words easier. Stretching out his neck Encore begged for more scratches and attention. Continuing with the scratching Kuro that for a moment. I guess stallions are mainly all agressive. Seeing the non-aggressive ones freak me out at times. After finishing saying what he had on his mind Kuro went back to his attention on Encore.
When Rosalie said her name Kuro mentally smacked himself. He should have been the gentleman and introduced himself and not have left her to be the first one. It is nice to meet you, Rosalie. My name is Kuro Westcott and as you may have caught earlier this is Encore, the grumpy stallion. Finally feeling her gaze on him, Kuro turned his head towards Rosalie. She was of some intrest to him, almost so that he wanted to be friends with her. But, usually being friends with girls turned out to be more and then their good friendship would go down the drain when one of them dumped the other.

Rosalie Stratford 'I guess stallions are mainly all agressive. Seeing the non-aggressive ones freak me out at times.' Rosalie smiled at his comment. "Yeah, sometimes that's a little weird. But every horse is different," she added, thinking of Curtis' Seduction and how the huge stallion acted just like a gelding. 'It is nice to meet you, Rosalie. My name is Kuro Westcott and as you may have caught earlier this is Encore, the grumpy stallion' Rose laughed at his comment about Encore. "It's nice to meet you, Kuro Westcott. Don't let that devil over there fool you. He's just acting nice for some odd reason. His name is Calm Before the Storm, but I just call him Stormy." She felt Kuro return her curious gaze and wasn't quite sure what to think. He was a pretty good looking guy, but hey, there were alot of them around. And so she waited to see what he would say next, still wondering if he didn't want company.

Horses remined me of humans at timees. How they treat each other and how different they are from one anouther. Pulling a sugar cube out of his pocket he handed it to Encore and watched him eagerly gobble it all down. Hearing Rosalie laugh at his other comment made a ghost of a smile come over Kuro's face. Keeping a calm look on his face he took some deep breaths trying to keep his own laughter in. Laughter was like a drug to him and whne somebody laughed he just had to join in with them nomatter what it was about. All his old teachers had always had trouble with him because of it. But, they learned to live with it.
After hearing what Rosalie said he couldn't hold in the laughter anymore and he had to lean against Encore to keep from falling. After he had calmed himself down Kuro spoke up. Sorry about that. Laughter is a drug for me. And Calm before the Storm is a cool name. I have never heard anything like that before. Getting a thought in his head that she might not think that he wanted her around Kuro slipped to the side of Encore away from Rosalie and Stormy and rummaged around in his saddle bag. Finding what he wanted he went back to the other side and held out the other sandwich he had been saving for later. Would you like to stay and eat with me. This was an extra I had, but I really don't have to eat it too and it would be nice to talk to you some more.

Rosalie nodded her head at his comment, causing wavy strands of black hair to fall in her face. She tucked them behind her ear and was a little startled when Kuro burst out laughing. 'Is he laughing at me?' she thought to herself, keeping her face perfectly composed.
'Sorry about that. Laughter is a drug for me. And Calm before the Storm is a cool name. I have never heard anything like that before.'
Rosalie smiled, now over her original thoughts about his laughter. She always felt proud when somebody complimented her on Stormy's name. She had always thought it to be a cool expression, and had therefore given it to Stormy, although it was a bit of an awkward name for him. Rarely was the dappled grey stallion calm. Even now he pawed at the ground impatiently, not looking the closeness of the other stallion and ready to get back on the trail. Rosalie turned to him and scratched his neck soothingly. As she was preoccupied with Stormy, apparently Kuro had brought out another sandwich. She turned around to see him holding it out to her. She hesitated, wondering if that was actually true. But she was a bit hungry and it would be nice to get to know Kuro more, so she accepted. "I'd love to stay and eat with you. Thank you," she said pleasantly, taking the sandwich from him with a smile. "Do you come here often?" she asked him, looking around at the beauty that surrounded her.
