Up Dream.
Could be heard coming from the training ring outside the stables, it was Jewel Lancall speaking to her dapple gray steed, Dream. The girl had blonde her hair pulled back into a messy bun with her black velvet helmet covering it. The girl was cantering around the ring on the big gray horse, called Dream. The geldings head was arched, his nose almost touching his chest, ears forward, eyes alert, nostrils flared, and his hooves moving swiftly around the ring.
The sun beamed down on the pair as they approached the 5ft. oxar. The girl, Jewel, tightened her reins a bit as they moved closer. Dream was now in a more collected canter and ready for the jump. As they neared the jump, Dream popped up his front legs and bent back on his hocks sailing over the jump another foot or so. Jewel brought her body up onto the geldings neck into a two point, her eyes focused on the ring fence. The powerful hooves of the gelding hit the ground first and followed where his back legs. Jewel smiled as they landed, it was a great jump, and she gave the gelding a pat on the neck, which was now drenched in sweat.
Very good boy Dream, that's what I want to see for now on, got it? she asked her horse, as if she would get an answer. Jewel sat back in the seat and pulled the braid reins backs slowing down the gelding to a walk. It was a long workout today and Jewel needed to hurry and get ready before her new horse got here. The girl looked down at her watch, she had about 2 hours before the guy got here, so she pulled Dream to a stop and dismounted.
Before handing him off to the stable hand, she unhitched the girth a bit to give the dapple gray gelding some breathing room. Jewel took off her helmet and placed it on the saddle as she took out the elastic that was holding her hair in the bun. Her blonde waves fell from the bun and down her back, it was long. The girl looked around, where was the stable hand? she had been waiting for five minutes almost.
An angered looked crossed her face, this was something that really pissed her off,her stable hand not showing up. Jewel took the reins in her right hand and walked Dream into the stable. I guess I'll take untack you right now boy, this was something she rarely did, she loved her horse, but why do the work when you have the money to pay someone else? Right? Most people took her as being stuck up and not really caring for her horse, but that wasn't true, was it?
