Other?: Tequila is a bright golden buckskin mare. She has black points, including her muzzle, ears and legs. She has an expressive face, and a rather attractive frame. Her neck is long and strong. Her mane tends to stand up straight.
Personality: Tequila has gone from a somewhat out of control mare to a calm collected little lady in the two years that Felix has had her. When she came to Felix, she had no formal show experience, and she was quite a spook at shows. At home, she was calm quiet and usually great. However, as soon as she got in the trailer and left the barn, she became a nightmare. However, that is in the past now and she has become quite the show horse. She competes in hunter mostly, however Felix has been known to show her in equitation occasionally.
Brief History: Tequila came to Felix after his friend purchased her on a whim. Her fiery personality was too much for his friend, who was bucked off. Felix began to retrain her, and his friend became afraid and disinterested in horses. His friend offered her to him at a reduced price, and knowing her potential, Felix agreed to the sale. Tequila has been with Felix for two years. Not much is known about her history before this, as she was going from owner to owner. It's assumed that her beauty led people to purchase her, only to be hit with a spooky horse. She was still valuable but often sold at a cheap price. Felix plans to keep her for at least several more years if not till the end of her life.
Other?: She is ridden English, in the Hunter and Equitation circuits.
Ps. This is an actual horse that I ride. She's such a sweetheart but a little kooky!
